Studying color seems, well, interesting. I had a Color Theory class last quarter and we learned how to use the Corel Painter software (which I am not fond of) and for our final project, we had to trace EVERY possible shape in the image (including shadows, clouds, body parts, clothes) and assign it a color based on the color sets that we created. I decided to use this picture of my friend Stephanie:

Five Picture Final
In my Photo History Survey class, our final project was to create five photos representing at least two genres. I chose to do art photography, food photography, commercial photography, and portrait photography. Check out these photos =). Comment and also check out my web site-- web.me.com/dustinyonish.
This an art photograph/self portrait of my hand on the piano.
Here in another art photograph I too a picture of cement stairs with a dusting of snow and footprints
The other day I made some really yummy shrimp alfredo and took a picture of it for this food photography image.
I love coffee! I snapped a picture of some espresso brewing for a commercial photograph.
And lastly, my lovely roommate/model posed for me so I could take her picture for a portrait photograph.

What a morning person!
For extra credit, one of my instructors gave an assignment to take a self portrait of ourselves brushing our teeth. So I crawled out of bed yesterday morning and set my tripod up in my bathtub, set the delayed shutter, and began to brush my teeth. This offer a not so rare glimpse of what I look like when I wake up =D. Check me out, web.me.com/dustinyonish

Around Town
Today I wondered around downtown with my camera and really took time to appreciate contrast. In order to further emphasize the contrast I made most of the pictures black and white. I hope you enjoy the way it turned out. Visit my site, web.me.com/dustinyonish
